Mixture Analysis in Peak® Spectroscopy Software
Mixture Analysis uses Library Search to sequentially identify the individual components in a spectrum of a mixture and estimate their contribution to the mixture. Automated subtraction of library spectra is performed sequentially to isolate and remove the contribution of these components. Simultaneously, an 'Additive Spectrum' is built up from the spectra of the individual components. This Additive Spectrum allows visualization of the quality of the result and yields a Correlation Coefficient as a quality metric.
A manual and tutorial are available here: mixtureAnalysis.pdf. The data and sample library for the tutorial are included in the Peak download.
